Work Experience

I had an internship at HP during summer 2017. My project was with network security on their printers. I am not at liberty to go into details on what the project was, but I can say it involved writing low level C++ code for Linux. I learned more about Linux sockets and some details about networking. I also learned the basic process of creating Linux packages. I worked on cross-compiling a YAML library to the ARM architecture. My mentors were overseeing my project as I progressed through it. They seemed to like the progress I made.

My other jobs were mostly in the field of IT, rather than software development.
